Jennifer Aniston Throws Shade on Kim Kardashian’s Blonde Hair
In a recent interview for Fashionista, Jennifer Aniston shared whether or not she would ever switch her hairstyle and her signature dirty blonde locks.
When asked if she would agree to do a drastic cut to her traditional shoulder length hair, Aniston said no.
The "Cake" actress stands by the motto "if it's not broke don't fix it," and loves the look she's managed to maintain throughout the years, Us Weekly reports.
In addition to not wanting to cut her hair, Aniston also has no desire to change the color of hair.
Fashionista asked Aniston if she would ever go platinum blonde and she replied, "No. No I don't. I'm not a trend person really. I kind of wait for the trends to go. Platinum blonde -- unless it was a wig -- no."
HollywoodLife.com suggests that Aniston's response to the platinum blonde question is a dig at Kim Kardashian, who recently dyed her signature brunette locks platinum blonde.
Prior to attending Paris Fashion week, Kardashian opted to dye her hair platinum blonde and debuted the new look on Instagram.
A few days later, various media outlets including E! News reported that Kardashian allegedly stole the trendy platinum blonde look from Serbian pop star Jelena Karleusha.
And though the platinum blonde trend seems to be one that various celebrities are taking part of, Aniston likes to keep it simple and does very little to her hair.
In fact, she revealed to Fashionista that she barely wears her hair up and she uses her natural sweat as hair product, People reports.
"A little sweat in the hair is nice,"Aniston revealed. "It's like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers, and it's actually just fun."
However, Aniston's hairstylist, Chris McMillian, thinks otherwise.
"Chris has that thing where he's like Edward Scissorhands. He just sees hair and he wants to cut it," she shared. "He just wants to just cut it all off, kind of like a pixie, which I will never do. And he always likes to give it a good two inches every year, just a healthy cut. He's also suggested going back to dark brown."
