Pop star Jason Derulo is set to debut the music video to his single "Want to Want Me" on the popular dating app Tinder on Monday morning.

And though Derulo says that he does not have a Tinder account, he does admit to dating again since his split from Jordin Sparks, Us Weekly reports.

Derulo revealed that with the help of his friends and family, he is making an easy transition back into the dating world.

"I have my wingmen, my little cousins," Derulo told Us Weekly. "They help me sift through the weirdos and find someone cool out of all the people I meet at clubs or events. It doesn't matter to me where I meet them – it they are a nice-looking person and we mesh well, why not?"

When asked why he chose to debut his music video on Tinder, Derulo responded,"[It's] the perfect place for my new single, 'Want to Want Me.' On Tinder, you swipe left or right and want the person you like to want you, too. It is a cool and unique way to deliver my new video to the world."

In a separate interview with E! News, Derulo named the attributes he is looking for in his future girlfriend. Derulo revealed his preferring a woman that is smart and not superficial.

"I don't like anyone that is too boojie cause I am not that boojie so it does not work if that's the case," he admitted. "I like someone that is smart that I can have an intelligent conversation with and someone that desires to take care of me like I desire to take care of them."

When asked if Derulo listens to ex Jordin Sparks' new music, Derulo responded no. However, he admits to discussing his breakup among other topics in his upcoming album.

"The whole album is not centered around my breakup and it's not like 'the story' cause I have gone through a lot of other things as well," he explained. "I have so much to talk about."
