Bloodborne PS4: See What the Critics Are Saying About the PlayStation 4 Exclusive
Bloodborne is now available exclusively on PlayStation 4, and already it's receiving some excellent reviews.
Bloodborne is a Dark Souls game. New themes and storylines will be introduced and the game is unafraid to "go big," according to Gamespot.
When playing the game, gamers will not be given overly detailed directions on what to do or where to go. Instead, vague goals and visual clues will lead them to their ultimate destination.
Cut scenes are not to be ignored -- they tell gamers what to do next. The game will speak to gamers, and it is their responsibility to listen.
There is some logic involved in the game. If an enemy comes down from the ceiling to attack a gamer's character, that means the gamer can get up there too.
Bloodborne will not only have excellent graphics, but it will also have environments that make sense. As gamers progress through different areas in the game, the architecture and enemies will make sense. When a gamer revisits an area they have already visited, things will not be how they were when they first visited it.
Bloodborne decided to stick with PS4-only availability. That means its online content will not have to be shared across multiple platforms.
Check out some of the reviews of the game.
Daniel Track of Game Informer said this: "Bloodborne may have many of the systems that make the Souls games amazing experiences underneath the hood, but on the surface there's a slick coat of blood that makes this PS4 exclusive look like a tantalizing treat when it arrives next year."
BGR's Jacob Siegal said this: "Following two shockingly successful and unthinkably brutal action games out of legendary development studio From Software, the team behind Demon's Souls and Dark Souls is back, and its new game Bloodborne received about as much attention as any other new property on the show floor."
IGN's Colin Moriarty had this to say about the game: "With its fresh emphasis on a new type of combat -- and with the addition of just a little speed -- the entire name of the game has changed for me. Bloodborne is, in the limited roster of games I've seen at E3 so far, my favorite title of the show. And I can't wait to see more."
