'Bates Motel' Season 3 Episode 4 Spoilers: Norma and Emma Will Take Day Off, Romero Looks Into Two Mysterious Deaths
As the third season of A&E's "Bates Motel" continues, tensions continue between Norma and Norman. However, these are to make way for new drama in next week's episode, according to the Episode 4 press release from the network.
According to On the Flix, A&E has released the synopsis for next week's episode of "Bates Motel," giving fans a little glimpse into what will happen next on the show.
"Norman and Emma will take a day off from the motel. Romero is going to begin to dig into two mysterious deaths in White Pine Bay. Norma will return to school; and buried secrets will start to emerge for Caleb and Dylan," the synopsis reads.
Following Episode 3, "Persuasion," the upcoming episode, titled "Unbreak-Able," will delve deeper into Emma's relationship with Norman as well as Norman's struggles as a new student. "Persuasion" showed Emma changing her style a bit and enticing Norman.
Perhaps it is good that Emma and Norman are not at the motel for some part of next week's episode, following Norman's fight with Norma. However, Romero's continued investigation into the two deaths, including the body found at the end of Episode 3, could lead back to Norman and Norma and cause another fight.
In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Freddie Highmore, who plays Norman, much more can be expected from his character as the season unfolds.
"Norman and Norma both start to evaluate their relationship in a way that they never had before. I think they've always assumed that their relationship is lovely and perfect and not at all odd. And I think both of them, in different ways, start to question it in the third season," Highmore explained.
This correlates with the drama of Monday's episode, which can only continue into next week as Romero continues investigating the deaths of the two women. However, the audience is fairly sure that Norman did not kill Annika, as he repeated it to his mother last Monday.
