World Cup 2014 Draw: Live Stream, Time, Updates
The highly anticipated group-stage draw for next summer's World Cup 2014 is set to take place at Costa do Sauípe Resort in Mata de São João, Bahia, Brazil on Friday, December 6.
The 32 qualified teams have already been divided into four different pots this week, based on FIFA's World Ranking and region. Friday's event will determine the drawn eight four-team groups set to kick off action in Brazil next June.
Pot 1 is made up of hosts Brazil, as well as the seven highest-placed nations in FIFA's October rankings. The second pot consists of the two remaining South American teams and the six African sides. Pot 3 features the four qualifiers from Asia and the four Conferderaion of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) representatives.
In addition, FIFA announced that one of the nine unseeded European teams from Pot 4 will be drawn into Pot 2, to be paired with one of the four South American seeds - Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Ecuador.
The confirmed World Cup finals draw pots in full are as follows:
Pot 1: Brazil, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, Uruguay and Switzerland
Pot 2: Chile, Ecuador, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria and Cameroon (plus one side from Pot 4)
Pot 3: Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Costa Rica, Mexico, Honduras and the United States
Pot 4: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Russia
World Cup 2014 draw live will take place at 11 a.m. ET, 4 p.m. GMT (1 p.m. local time) with live coverage provided by FIFA.com, as well as ESPN2, with a live stream also available on ESPN3.
