MMA fans are in for a huge summer of UFC events. One of the most anticipated UFC events this year takes place on July 11, the UFC 189. The UFC 189 will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event will be between José Aldo and Conor McGregor for the Feather Championship.

Aldo is the current Featherweight champion of UFC, having a tremendous 25-1 record. The 28-year-old Brazilian is one of the best tactical fighters with his jiu-jitsu ground fighting style. Aldo has won his last 18 consecutive fights dating back to 2005.

His opponent will be Conor McGregor. The "Celtic Tiger" hails from Ireland where he has brought a tenaciously powerful fighting style that he feels could give Aldo huge problems. McGregor has won his last 13 consecutive fights, 11 of which have come by knockout. He is the No. 3 contender in the Featherweight division, but he will have a chance to prove his worth and win the championship come July.

The two were featured at the at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan, New York City as part of the UFC World Tour. As expected, the two had some "friendly" words for each other.

"He better be prepared to die because I am prepared to kill," McGregor said. McGregor also went on to say that he wasn't very impressed with Aldo's winning streak. "His reign as champion has been unimpressive. Decision after decision."

When a reporter asked, "What are you doing to prepare for this?" McGregor responded, "Nothing I'm perfect. ... I don't care who he has beat or who he has caught. At the end of the day he is not winning.

Aldo responded, "My whole career this is how it's been. I go in and I win. I don't need to preview anything."

Although Aldo doesn't get many knockouts, he almost always seems to come away with a victory.

Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald will also be facing each other at the UFC 189. They will be the fighting for the UFC Welterweight Championship.
