The weekend box office is expected to continue its winning streak as "Furious 7" will be released and is expected to be a huge hit.

Latin Post takes a look at the hottest movies to watch for this weekend:

"Furious 7" 

For many the wait is finally over especially after this film has been delayed for several months. After the death of Paul Walker in 2013, "Furious 7" was expected to be cancelled.

However, director James Wan came up with a way of rewriting the story and still include Walker's character Brian in the film. The latest film brings back Vin Diesel, The Rock, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster and tells the story of Deckard Shaw, who seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto and his family for the death of his brother. The movie world premiered at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival, where the cast paid tribute to Walker. "Furious 7" has scored rave reviews and many critics say that the film gives Walker's character an emotional goodbye. After the success of the past two films, "Furious 7" is likely to open above $120 million and could be slated to be one of the biggest films of 2015.

"Woman in Gold"

The Weinstein Company will open the Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds starrer in 250 theaters after two days in limited release. The drama tells the story of Maria Altmann, an octogenarian Jewish refugee, who takes on the government to recover artwork she believes rightfully belongs to her family. Reviews have been scathing with critics complaining about the plot. However, Mirren has received rave reviews for her turn in the lead role. The Weinstein Company has given "Woman in Gold" a healthy marketing campaign. However, unless audiences are interested, this movie could easily be the latest Indie film to flop. Last year, the company released "The Railway Man" at the same time period and gave the film a good marketing campaign. However, the film's dark subject matter put off audiences and the film ended up flopping. "Woman in Gold" is not as dark as "The Railway Man" but reviews are not nearly as good.

Also opening in limited release is IFC film's "5 to 7" which premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Adopt Film's "Effie Gray" starring Dakota Fanning and Emma Thompson.

Sony Pictures Classics will introduce "Lambert and Stamp" while Monterey Media will release "The Living." Hanover media will also release "SBK-The Movie" and A24 will release "Cut Bank.

For those not interested in these releases "Home" will likely be the best choice for family audiences while "Insurgent" and "Cinderella" will continue to compete for female audiences.

Horror flick "It Follows" will also continue to play in wide release after its successful breakout weekend. Bleeker Street will expand "Danny Collins" hoping to have another Indie breakout while Amplify will continue to expand the critically acclaimed "Kumiko." The Argentinian Oscar nominee "Wild Tales" will also continue to unspool in major cities while Roadside Attractions has "'71" starring Jack O'Connell.

For faith-based audiences looking for an Easter Sunday film, Pureflix will have "Do You Believe?," which has been somewhat of a box office hit.
