Justin Bieber and Typhoon Haiyan: Singer is a Belieber in Charity Towards the Phillippines [VIDEO]
Justin Bieber shows his generosity by flying to the Philippines to join the cause in helping the devastating aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan. He has launched a campaign to help victims rebuilt their lives after they have lost everything due to the severe damages of the storm. Bieber put a smile on the faces of his "Beliebers" who adore the Canadian heartthrob and were given hope just by him being near.
Justin joins the many celebrities who have lent a helping hand to a very broken country. Bieber made a video for his many fans asking for their help in supporting the victims of the Typhoon. The storm's passing left 6,000 people dead and more than 1,700 others missing. Those numbers are heartwrenching and still very difficult to take in.
Justin is offering donors a chance to win a prize to hang out with him in a studio while he works on his upcoming album. To Justin's pretty obsessive teen fans, just being at a concert in the same room with him drives them bonkers! This is the perfect way to create awareness within young people as well as getting them to help.
Justin also told fans "the moment I heard about the tragedy a few weeks back I thought, I can count on you guys to make a difference." Don't you love the way Bieber manipulates his fans into doing what he wants? It's for a good cause this time so we aren't complaining.
Glad to see young stars like Justin standing up in a time of need. Plus he really needs the "cool points." Justin is not really on the most liked list right now. Other celebrities and high public figures that stopped by the Philippines lately were Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera and Australian Foreign Minister Julia Bishop. Alicia Keys was recently performing at a concert in Manilla where she took the time to pass out coloring books and crayons for the children.
