A couple may have been teased about their last names, but they will get the last laugh.

Joel Burger and Ashley King of Illinois will be getting married this summer, and one fast food chain will help the Burger-King wedding become memorable, Mashable reports.

Fast food giant Burger King heard about the wedding and offered to pay for the wedding.

"When we heard about the happy, Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage," Burger King spokesman Eric Hirschhorn said on Tuesday.

Burger and King have known each other since kindergarten, The State Journal-Register reports. They began dating in college and then Burger proposed to King at a lake.

Embracing the Burger King theme, the couple's engagement photos were taken in front of a local Burger King store leaning on a Burger King sign.

At first, the couple reached out to Burger King to ask for help in creating some drink cozies with the Burger King logo. They did not immediately hear back from Burger King though.

However, as the story of the Burger-King wedding gained more attention on social media, Burger King took notice and put out a tweet asking for the couple to contact them.

It did not take long for King to reply to that tweet, saying she was Ms. King. Burger King then asked her to send them a private message on Twitter because they had something "special" for her.

The company scheduled a Skype video chat with the couple. At the end of the video chat, Burger King told the couple that their wedding would be paid for.

The Burger-King wedding will take place July 17.
