Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes Daughter & Relationship: 'Mission Impossible' Star's Reps Deny He Hasn't Seen Suri in Nearly a Year
Tom Cruise allegedly hasn't seen his young daughter in almost a year, as he and Katie Holmes apparently continue to struggle at co-parenting following their messy split.
According to TMZ, the 52-year-old "Mission Impossible" star and Holmes are not on speaking terms, and that harsh reality has apparently also impacted the amount of time he's been able to spend with 8-year-old Suri.
Though they were married for six years, Cruise and Holmes now use intermediaries for virtullay all forms of communication, the New York Post reports. Cruise only recently returned to the United States after working on production for "Mission Impossible 5" in London.
He is now expected to spend as much as three-months in Atlanta working on a new film.
Meanwhile, Holmes and her daughter recently relocated out west to California. Still, reps for Cruise deny that he and his daughter have in any way become estranged, adding they are simply spending time together away from the spotlight. Cruise was also recently spotted taking in a women's Final Four game in Florida with son Connor.
People Magazine reports Holmes purchased her LA abode back in August 2014, and the property is just a stone's throw away from a home owned by Jamie Foxx, reigniting long simmering rumors of a "secret romance" between the two.
"This is not some intense romance," a source with knowledge of the situation told the magazine. "Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn."
Also previously married to Nicole Kidman, Cruise has also starred in such flicks as "Jerry Maguire, "Top Gun," "The Firm," "A Few Good Men," "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Risky Business." He earned Academy Award nominations for his work in both "Jerry Maguire" and "Born on the Fourth of July."
