The biggest and best golf tournament in the world is about to take place.

The 2015 PGA Masters represents the very first major of the year.

It's a golf competition unlike any other because it's always played at one location, and it is regarded as the toughest to win on the four.

Rory McIlroy is the No.1 ranked golfer in the world, and he has successfully won the last two majors played, the 2014 British Open and the 2014 PGA Championship. The Masters is the only major McIlroy has not yet won in his career.

Although he hasn't won a major since 2008, all eyes will be on Tiger Woods, who still sits at 14 career major victories, four behind the great Jack Nicklaus. Last year, it was Bubba Watson who won the Masters for the second time in three years. Watson is currently ranked No. 3 in the world.

TV Schedule, How to Watch

The Masters will begin on Thursday, April 9 at 7:45 a.m. EST on ESPN. Thursday and Friday's coverage will be shown on ESPN, but Saturday and Sunday will be shown CBS. Third-round times and pairings will be not be announced until Friday evening when the second round is fully complete.
