'The Bachelor' Cast & News: Chris Soules Says He Is Happy Fiancee Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley Are Friends
Following his performance on "Dancing With the Stars," "The Bachelor's" Chris Soules spoke to Us Weekly about his engagement to Whitney Bischoff.
On the final episode of "The Bachelor," Soules made the decision to choose Bischoff as his fiancee over runner-up Becca Tilley.
And though he and Tilley no longer share a romantic relationship, Soules revealed that Bischoff and Tilley still remain friends to this day.
When asked to share how he feels about their friendship, Soules replied, "I'm so glad they're friends."
Soules explained that as a previous contestant on "The Bachelorette," he also developed friendships with some of the guys he was competing against to win Andi Dorfman's love. Because of that experience, he can relate to Bischoff's friendship with her former competitor.
"I'm just glad they were able to keep their friendship, because they're great girls. That's what that experience was about. Meeting some really great people and having those friendships is important," Soules said.
As for his engagement to Bischoff, Soules says that he is sure about his decision to marry Bischoff, although balancing engagement life and "DWTS" has been difficult for him.
"I think mentally I'm not really there in a way that I will be able to be in the future," he said. "[DWTS] changes the dynamic a little, so she gets that and we've just got to communicate and work hard to have a relationship... It will be a lot easier once this is over with," he explained.
While Soules continues competing on "DWTS," Bischoff has continued working and was even recently promoted to do PR for the medical facility she works with, Soules revealed.
When she is not working, Bischoff is either supporting her husband or hanging out with his "DWTS" partner, Witney Carson, Bischoff told Us.
Bischoff revealed that she initially reached out to Carson in order to develop a close relationship with her while she worked with her fiance.
"We had a really good chat and she's great, you know? I really, really like her and we'll be hanging out more," Bischoff told Us Weekly.
