CBS ‘2 Broke Girls’ Spoilers for Season 4 Episode 17: Max Pursues a Coworker But Joe Disapproves
The next episode of "2 Broke Girls," "And the High Hook-Up," shows Max, played by Kat Dennings, pursuing a love interest, but because she works with him, she will face some problems.
"Max pursues a handsome new waiter at The High, despite Joe's "no hook-up" rule..." CBS' official description stated.
According to Star Watch Byline, this episode guest stars Austin Falk as Nashit, the hot new co-worker that catches Max's eye. But she will obviously have to either sneak around, or outwardly break Joe's rule forbidding romantic relationships between co-workers at the restaurant, much to her best friend Caroline's (Beth Behrs) dismay.
In th set of images shared by CBS, Max is shown flirting with Austin. She is described as being "far from shy" in the episode. Max will also make her opinion felt, and it might be Caroline who is left dealing with the consequences. Joe will visit Caroline at home.
As reported by International Business Times, this episode is directed by Fred Savage.
Savage is best known for his leading role in the period drama "The Wonder Years," in which he played Kevin Arnold, whose love interest was Winnie Cooper, who was played by Danica McKellar. He also starred in "The Princess Bride."
Savage started his directing career in 1999 with various episodes of pre-teen shows on Disney and comedies on ABC.
Season 4 of this series has been met with mixed reviews, with a user score of 6.4 on Metacritic, and an audience score of 45 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
In an Entertainment Weekly article, the show was described as "not quite living up to its potential." The site also stated that despite good ratings, "the actual quality of the jokes and the direction (or lack of one)..." was still an issue with the show.
In January 2014, New York Post reported that at least 91 people had lodged complaints to federal regulators in regards to the crude jokes made on the show that had sexual overtones. Some complaints even referenced the themes of homosexual lifestyles and condoms.
The show still lives on, and Episode 17 is scheduled to air on CBS on April 17.
