A Los Angeles court has decided to throw out Khloe Kardashian's seemingly never-ending divorce proceedings against Lamar Odom if the reality TV star doesn't soon move to get a default judgment.

TMZ reports the court recently filed legal documents to dismiss the entire proceedings if Kardashian, 30, does not take action in her petition against NBA husband by the end of April.

It's been 16 months now since Kardashian formally filed for divorce from Odom, who has never legally responded to the action.

"The parties will need to file again to have a new case if they want to get divorced, and the six month filing date will recommence as of the new filing date, whenever that may be," divorce attorney Heidi Lauer told HollywoodLife. "They are still legally married and will remain so until the court grants the dissolution."

Given the April 2 interview Kardashian did with E News, where she told reporters she still wanted to be with 35-year-old Odom, one can only wonder what her next action might be.

"I will never ever not love Lamar," she admitted. "I'm so obsessed with Lamar in a great, healthy way. He was my husband, and I wish he still was, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that."

Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013 amid widespread rumors Odom was cheating on her. At the time, she also applied for the legal restoration of her own surname. But HollywoodLife reports just last week Kardashian was back to using Odom as her last name on a deed she signed to purchase land in Armenia.

The website previously reported Kardashian and Odom have "getting together" in secret for months now, despite her being romantically linked to bad boy rapper French Montana.

"Khloe can't get over it," a source told HollywoodLife. "She's been secretly still hooking up with Lamar, which French doesn't know anything about."

The source added, "Khloe says she and Lamar have some sort of chemistry and electricity that she just doesn't have with French and she doesn't know if she ever will."
