After ten years of marriage, The Best Man Holiday star Taye Diggs has called it quits with his wife, Broadway star Idina Menzel. 

CBS News is reporting that the couple -- who were dogged by reports of infidelity over the summer -- have reportedly come to a mutual decision to end their marriage. "Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time," said their representatives. "Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time." 

According to The Los Angeles Times, the couple met in 1995 while both were starring in the original production of Rent on Broadway. (Other notable stars of the original Broadway production include Daphne Ruben-Vega, Wilson Hereida and Jesse L. Martin.) They married in 2003 and had a son, Walker, in September 2009.

In the hit musical, Menzel's character, Maureen, has a strong dislike for wealthy landlord Benny, originally played by Diggs. The two actors both reprised their roles for the film adaptation in 2003.  

As recently as October, Diggs said the couple were "doing good" as they hit their 10-year-anniversary. Those who don't make it to Broadway for shows like the original run of "Wicked," in which Menzel played Elphaba, might know her on TV as Rachel Berry's mom in Glee. Diggs can be seen in theaters in The Best Man Holiday.
