PS4 vs. Xbox One Price, News, Games, Availability: Where to Buy Game Consoles This Weekend?
The Black Friday rush is already in the books and stores are stocking back up for the home stretch of the holiday season.
This is great news for the gamers who were unable to get their hands on one of the next-gen Xbox One game console in November, but where exactly are people supposed to go? Online? Retail stores? Straight to the Microsoft shop?
On this mid-December weekend, plenty of people will be skipping the online shopping and will instead be opting to weather the wintry storms in hopes of getting those last holiday gifts. Considering this, we'll take a look at some of the top places to go if you're in the right areas.
First, give the basic retailers a try. Depending on whether you live in an urban area or rural area, you might be forced to choose between certain stores. Wal-Mart is offering the game console in select stores but it is completely out of stock online. Gamestop will have Xbox One game consoles available this weekend; it was announced that the store would have limited consoles in stock starting on Friday and heading into the weekend.
Meanwhile, for those of you looking online, the Xbox One will be available on Amazon after the website just restocked the game consoles. Sony's PlayStation 4, on the other hand, remains sold out at this point on the store's website. If you do want to pick up an Xbox One, make sure you act fast because they are, expectedly, only available at Amazon in a limited capacity.
Another option is to search in your local Microsoft store, if possible. The stores are only located in certain cities around the United States, particularly in cities with much bigger markets. While other shoppers are flocking to the big retail stores, you can try to take the shortcut by heading to the Microsoft store.
Have you purchased an Xbox One yet? If not, where are you planning to buy it? Let us know in the comments!
