Jennifer Lopez New Movie Role 2015: 'The Boy Next Door' Actress to Play MILF in Upcoming Comedy 'Mothers I'd Like To...'
Looks like Jennifer Lopez is cementing her image as a MILF, as she has reportedly signed onto her next film project titled "Mothers I'd Like To..."
Lopez, 45, previously played Claire, a mom and teacher who had a secret affair with her obsessive teenage neighbor, played by Ryan Guzman, in 2015 thriller "The Boy Next Door."
After earning a worldwide box office gross of $48 million, the Latina mogul has now reteamed with Universal Pictures, according to Deadline.
The "Feel the Light" singer will produce the upcoming comedy, which is described as "'Bridesmaid' meets 'First Wives Club,'" through her Nuyorican Productions with partners Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, who came up with the original idea, and Benny Medina.
Vincent Newman is set to executive produce, and Priscilla Porianda will co-produce. Mark Perez ("Herbie Fully Loaded") is in charge of penning the script.
Moreover, the ageless mother of 7-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian voiced the character of Lucy, the mother of Rihanna's character, in recently released DreamWorks movie "Home."
At the movie's premiere last month, RiRi admitted that she really enjoyed working with J. Lo.
"How dope is that? J. Lo is like the hottest mom," she said, according to E! News. "She's a MILF!"
The Barbadian star also said in an interview with Grazia magazine: "When you hear Jennifer, her voice has that warmth and safeness that my mother has. It has that tone. It's almost like it can hug you. I love her. She is great. Doesn't everybody want J. Lo to be their mum?"
The feeling was clearly mutual. "It feels good," said Lopez. "I love being a mom. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me. [But] Rihanna is not Rihanna in this movie. She's 11!"
