Miley Cyrus stirs up yet another controversy by exposing parts of her body and this time, the pop star goes topless for this year's holiday season.

Over the weekend, the "Wrecking Ball" singer took Twitter to send out her worldwide fans and followers a merry Christmas card, certainly in Miley Cyrus style. The selfie she posted featured the singer lifting up her top with one of her notorious signature moves, other than twerking -- sticking her tongue out. Luckily, her flashed breasts were covered with two heart-shaped 'Merry Christmas" signs.

"Merry Christmas. Thank You New York for being one of the few states to @freethenipple," Cyrus tweeted.

After getting negative criticisms on the photo, the "Bangerz" singer posted a new tweet an hour later. "It's not about getting your t*****s out," she insisted. "It's about equality."

Miley Cyrus' latest controversy follows her recent performance at Z100's Jingle Ball 2013 in New York City, where she twerked the night away with a lady dressed as a festive Christmas tree onstage.

"Almost Bad Santa time!" she expressed her excitement on Twitter before the performance. "Just one final @eos touch up by @freakabritt before we hit the stage!!"

The "We Can't Stop" singer was scantily-clad in a pair of sparkly red hotpants and a matching sparkly red crop top detailed with white fur-trim sleeves. She completed her sexy Santa outfit with a pair of white, fluffy pompom earrings and a pair of white boots decorated with shiny studs.

Miley Cyrus is set to perform as the final performer at the annual New Year's Rockin' Eve festivities, just moments before the giant ball drops.
