Amber Rose and Ray J are rumored to be on the verge of hooking up after estranged husband Wiz Khalifa rejected her recent overtures of a long-term reconciliation.

According to HollywoodLife, Rose and Ray J were recently partying at the same nightclub when they happened upon one another and instantly seemed to entertain the idea of taking things to the next level.

After reportedly flirting much of the night away, the 27-year-old reality star told TMZ he envisioned Rose being his next conquest.

"Yo, Amber Rose's ass is so fine," he told TMZ. "I said, 'Amber, I'm here.' She said, 'I'm here too.' I said, 'All in due time.'"

Rose and Wiz were thought to be working out their issues when they spent Easter weekend together with their son, Sebastian, but shortly after that the 27-year-old Khalifa spilled the beans that he was only looking out be "friends with benefits."

The 31-year-old Rose recently appeared on an episode of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burrus' "Kandi Koated Nigthchat," where she exclaimed of her struggling marriage, "I'm trying. I waited a long time on my husband to come home and he didn't."

Rose later went on to lament she feels most men are intimidated by her and that she recently went on two dates where both men simply didn't measure up.

"I'm all about chemistry," she said. "If it's not there, it's not there. I don't hold on to anyone if it's not working."

Soon after initially splitting from Khalifa. Rose was romantically linked to NBA star James Harden and Mariah Carey's soon-to-be-ex-husband Nick Cannon. She and Cannon have taken great pains to deny any romantic involvement, insisting their relationship is strictly business related with him serving as her manager.

After much speculation about them again moving toward being one big happy family, Amber recently told E Online she and Wiz were just friends after the website adds it was him who rejected her idea of a full-fledged reconciliation.

"Amber made a move to get back together and Wiz appreciated that," a source told HollywoodLife, adding that the two have certainly been hooking up and Rose labels the sex "the absolute best of her life," while Khalifa is adamant "that's all he wants right now."
