Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Dating 2015: Couple's Wedding Details Revealed [Watch]
Amid engagement rumors, details of Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill's supposed wedding plans have been revealed.
Last week, the Trinidadian emcee took to her social media accounts to tease that she and the Philly rapper got engaged. A few hours after tweeting a diamond ring emoji with the words, "I'll post it later," she shared the close-up photo of the actual heart-shaped bling on Instagram.
Morgan Shara of MASbisjoux jewelry recently told E! News that the ring appears to be 15 carats. Shara said it is a yellow diamond that has two rows of white pavé diamonds surrounding the heart shape. The ring has been valued at about $500,000.
A source close to the couple also told Urban Islandz that Meek proposed to Minaj while on vacation in Miami: "She cried happy tears and said yes. He was very happy that she said yes, because you could tell that he was nervous."
Though many details have been released about their relationship and supposed engagement, there is no further detail on when the "Buy a Heart" duo will marry.
"The wedding will likely happen sooner rather than later," the source revealed to the publication.
The insider added that Meek wants to make sure the upcoming ceremony is "perfect" and "a fairy tale come true" for his rumored bride-to-be.
Meanwhile, Minaj made a surprise guest appearance during Drake's set at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
"Coachella, you gotta make some noise for like the love of my life. I love this girl right here. We family forever," Drizzy introduced his Young Money label-mate, before seemingly confirming her engagement.
When Minaj came up onstage rocking her gigantic ring, the duo embraced each other. The "6 God" rapper then congratulated his "Truffle Butter" collaborator, although he did not specify what she had achieved.
"Congratulations and all that, you know what I'm saying," he coyly said.
