'Jane the Virgin' Star Gina Rodriguez Getting Married?
Golden Globe-winning actress Gina Rodriguez may take part in an unconventional love story on the wildly popular CW hit, "Jane the Virgin," but in real life, it looks like she has found the love of her life -- sans the drama and the artificial insemination goof like in the show!
She's been dating fellow actor Henri Esteve, who was last seen on Season 3 of ABC's "Revenge" where he played Javier Salgado, "a bad boy and love interest for Charlotte." The Cuban actor also reportedly has a theater background and trained in New York at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
The couple often profess their love for each other on Instagram. Rodriguez has also described Esteve as "the best" and "amazing," and now there's a rumor that the two may be heading down the aisle soon.
According to The Washington Post, there hasn't been any official confirmation from the actors' reps of an engagement, but there was an interesting find that the publication discovered that may or may not indicate that the actors are headed towards marital bliss.
CBS News, which will host both actors at this year's White House Correspondents Dinner, reportedly released "an inadvertent confirmation via a press release on Monday."
"In an email announcing the network's VIP name cards, a rep for CBS News wrote, '...guests for this year's White House Correspondents Dinner include Peabody and Golden Globe award-winning actress Gina Rodriguez and her [sic] fiancée actor Henri Esteve,'" The Washington Post reports.
After The Washington Post pointed out the joyous news, a rep for CBS News "quickly amended Esteve's title to 'boyfriend,' calling the 'fiancee' tag a mistake."
The Washington Post then gave an update that read, "A rep for Rodriguez confirmed that the rumor mill is wrong on this one. 'They are not engaged,' the publicist told us in an email."
That would have been a great "oops" indeed! Who knows, stay tuned we may be hearing wedding bells sooner than you think!
"Jane the Virgin" airs on The CW on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
