'Walking Dead' Season 6 Cast & Spoilers: New Character Delvin Will Be Introduced; He 'Thinks People Can Be Pretty Dumb'
Fans of “The Walking Dead,” AMC's cerebral gore-fest , are used to their favorite survivors getting killed off.
As upsetting as it may have been to see characters like Beth (Emily Kinney) or Shane (Jon Bernthal) bite the dust, the culling of old characters leads the way to new fan favorites. As reported in E! Online, when the critically acclaimed zombie series picks up again in October, the show will introduce an engaging new character
“Get ready to meet Delvin,” says Kristin dos Santos of E! Online’s Spoiler Chat. Delvin will be a new recurring character who she describes as “quite cynical and sarcastic.”
“He's not angry, he just thinks people can be pretty dumb,” informs the entertainment columnist.
Another new character on the show is a guy named Tucker, described as “a hardworker tough guy who values fairness.”
The introduction of some interesting new characters might be just what the show needs, as it is rumored that Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on the “The Walking Dead,” might be leaving the series.
As reported by Cleveland.com, a number of websites have reported that the 46-year-old actor has sold his home in Atlanta, where the show is filmed.
The article notes that when actress Emily Kinney found out that she would be written out of the show, the first thing she did was find a new place to live.
In a recent interview in Entertainment Weekly, Reedus described the motivations and tendencies of his character as “pretty conservative,” adding “ I don’t think he trusts people right off the bat.”
As Reedus puts it: “I don’t think Daryl would have liked living in a suburban housing development even before the zombie apocalypse.”
