Rumer Willis admits she initially found her mom Demi Moore's relationship with a much younger Ashton Kutcher a bit "weird" given she had grown up adoring posters of him taped to her walls.

"It was definitely weird for a minute, but I have to commend him," the now 26-year-old "Dancing With The Stars" favorite told "The Howard Stern Show" on SiriusXM. "He was a really great stepfather. The perspective switched quickly."

Still, Willis recalls having to have a talk with her younger sister about Kutcher's changing status and the fact they had to "cross him off the list.'"

Then 42 years old, Moore and 27-year-old Kutcher were married in 2005 after dating for two years. Rumer Willis was 17 at the time of their union and also recalls being "kind of impressed" by her mother's obvious charms.

"I was like 'Yeah girl, get it!'" she told Stern of learning of her mother's involvement with Kutcher, whom she insists she maintains a friendship with despite the couple's split and divorce in 2013.

Willis also marvels at the relationship her parents have managed to carve out despite all their apparent differences.

"It's something that I commend them for so much," she said. "They made such a huge effort that we never had to split up birthdays or vacations. We literally would all go together. They had this weird thing where they literally just became friends."

According to Us Weekly, Bruce Willis has since married model Emma Heming and the two have two young daughters together. Kutcher, meanwhile, is now engaged to Mila Kunis and two likewise have a daughter together.

All the constant change has Rumer Willis now feeling as if she's finally conquered the drama of being the child of movie star parents -- at least most of it.

"No one wants to hear their parents engage in any sort of sexual things so having it on film was a little awkward," she admitted.
