The NBA playoffs have begun with a bang.

The final 16 teams are fighting for a chance to win the NBA Championship, but the other 14 teams who failed to qualify for the postseason have plenty of work to do.

This offseason promises to be an incredible one with so many notable players entering free agency. A lot of teams are reloading, and they must rebuild their roster.

Let's take a look at the top 10 players heading into free agency:

10. Jeremy Lin

It looks like the Jeremy Lin experiment in Los Angeles is coming to an end.

The Lakers are rebuilding, and Lin doesn't quite fit the system. Lin won't be winning league MVP anytime soon, but he's still a good point guard who led the Lakers in assists this season by more than 130 than the second place player. Supposedly, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is a fan of Lin.

Possible destinations: Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks

9. Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson is an average point guard who can help any roster, especially off the bench in late game minutes. He's still just 25 years old, he's very fast, and his passing has been steadily improving. Jackson was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Detroit Pistons this season before the NBA trade deadline, and he still has a qualifying offer in his contract worth $3.2 million. Most likely, he'll accept and remain in Detroit, but you never know.

Possible destinations: Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls

8. Tyson Chandler

Tyson Chandler has a $20.6 million cap hold heading into the offseason. Most NBA experts believe he will become an unrestricted free agent, and possibly sign elsewhere. Chandler is an underrated center, having averaged 11.5 rebounds per game this season.

Possible destinations: Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks

7. Monta Ellis

Here is an interesting player.

Monta Ellis has played great for the Dallas Mavericks over the last two seasons. Although sometimes inconsistent, Ellis has shown flashes of elite greatness against the league's best teams in the Western Conference. Ellis has a player option in his contract in which he can accept $8.72 million next season to stay with the Mavericks. Pretty hard to turn that down.

Possible destinations: Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz

6. Kevin Love

Kevin Love is a great player, he's just not elite. Thanks to LeBron James, Love has made the postseason for the first time in his entire career. Obviously adding Love would make a team better, but be careful of overpaying for a player who has no post moves and shoots too many three point shots. There's a good chance he will re-sign with the Cavaliers for less money.

Possible destinations: Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks

5. Jimmy Butler

Is Jimmy Butler worth a max contract? That's the big question in Chicago right now. Butler and his agent (wisely) rejected the Bulls offer last year, and it's paying off big time. Butler is a restricted free agent, so the Bulls have first dibs no matter what. Don't count on Butler leaving the Windy City, but a big contract for him would certainly leave Derrick Rose's future in doubt.

Possible destinations: Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies

4. Rajon Rondo

There's no doubt about it, no player has hurt is stock and value more than Rajon Rondo this season. ESPN NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith estimates that Rondo has cost himself at least $40 million in his next contract. Still, Rondo is a terrific passer and ball distributor. He just needs to work on his jump shot and free throw shooting.

Possible destinations: Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks

3. DeAndre Jordan

Another big man on our list.

Sure, he's a terrible free throw shooter, but he's a terror in the paint area. This is the kind of guy who scares opposes offenses. Jordan has increased his scoring average all seven seasons of his career. Jordan will provide nonstop blocks and rebounds for any team that wants to sign him for elite money.

Possible destinations: New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons

2. LaMarcus Aldridge

LaMarcus Aldridge is an interesting player. Still just 29 years old, Aldridge knows how to score the basketball down low in the paint at a very high rate. The Portland Trail Blazers star is set to become an unrestricted free agent, and many think he will leave. Unlike most big men, Aldridge is a great free throw shooter.

Possible destinations: Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors

1. Marc Gasol

Marc Gasol has played his entire career for the Memphis Grizzlies, but this summer he will become an unrestricted free agent. Like his older brother, Pau Gasol, many believe he could leave the Grizzlies for the Lakers. Gasol is obviously one of the best big man in the game today, and he's about to get a very big contract. The Grizzlies can afford to re-sign Gasol, but does he want to go elsewhere?

Possible destinations: Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Memphis Grizzlies

Other notable free agents include: Paul Millsap, Kevin Garnett, Andrea Bargnani, Goran Dragic and Paul Missap.
