Much to Phil's (Will Forte) chagrin in "The Last Man on Earth," the new Phil Miller (Boris Kodjoe) is a hit with the ladies, whom are suffering from man drought.

He's handsome, charming and, most of all, he's resourceful. He can put together wind and solar energy, he is strong (ex-military) and he is also from North Carolina, which rouses fellow stateswoman Gail's (Mary Steenburgen) interest.

According to TV Guide, now that they have had a chance to meet and greet their new and improved Phil, the cul-de-sac decides to setup a new election and vote for a new U.S. President. But old Phil is not the only one who toils at the thought of New Phil's presence. For Man No. 2, also known as Todd (Mel Rodriguez), new Phil represents the same challenges, which is outmanning him with the ladies, who are all drooling over new Phil.

For those who're wondering who the New Phil is, he is the one who rescued the sunburnt and unconscious Old Phil from the billboard. According to Vulture, in the last episode, titled "Moved to Tampa," when Phil got his official divorce from Carol, he became a single man and quickly roused himself onto the dating scene. Erica and Gail both promptly come to him with offers, which he gladly accepts in his new quest to court the ladies. But he also double-books them on the same afternoon.

Todd later confesses his love to Melissa (January Jones), who has a less than endearing response. He later approaches Phil with his own self-doubts and much like Phil, wants to make sure that no one else comes to town and "out-mans" them.

So that is what leads Phil to change all his "Alive in Tucson" signs on the billboards to "Moved to Tampa." But his ladder falls over and his only face shade -- his pants -- get blown away by the one and only gust of wind.

As the cul-de-sac is forming a search party, a truck shows up with New Phil holding Old Phil, who he saved from the billboard and has the coincidental circumstance of having the exact same first and last name.
