Premios TVyNovelas 2015 Date, Preview & Nominees: Tune in to See if 'Lo Que La Vida Me Robó' or 'Mi Corazón Es Tuyo' Win Best Telenovela
The stage has been set for the annual Premios TVyNovelas event, which honors the very best in Spanish-language television. The event will take place on Sunday, April 26 at 9:30 p.m. and will air on Univision.
According to Univision, renowned Latin actors will honor their colleagues by presenting awards during the ceremony. These prestigious award presenters will include the likes of Gabriel Soto, Laura Carmine, Mané de la Parra, Adriana Louvrier, África Zavala, Sherlyn, Angelique Boyer, David Zepeda, Iván Sánchez, Marjorie de Sousa, Alexis Ayala and Susana González.
Univision's morning show host Karla Martinez will be joining a host of producers, directors and reporters (which are Roberto Hernández, Claudia de Icaza, Salvador Mejía and Lupita Martínez) as jurors for the star-studded evening.
Several Univision network shows are up for the coveted award, Best Entertainment Program. The list includes "Despierta América,' "El Gordo y la Flaca," "Sábado Gigante," "Sal y Pimienta" and "Nuestra Belleza Latina."
For the category of Best Telenovela, the nominees are: "El Color de la Pasión," "Lo que la Vida Me Robó," "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," "Que Pobres Tan Ricos" and "Yo No Creo en los Hombres."
The field is especially wide for nominees in the Best Leading Actor category. The nominess include José Elías Moreno ("Quiero Amarte"), Manuel "Flaco" Ibáñez ("Que Pobres Tan Ricos"), Manuel Ojeda ("La Gata"), René Casados ("Mi Corazón es Tuyo"), as well as Ana Bertha Espín (Lo Que La Vida Me Robó"), Helena Rojo ("El Color de la Pasión), Patricia Reyes Spíndola (El Color de la Pasión") and Rosa María Bianchi ("Yo no creo en los Hombres").
Alejandra Guzmán, David Bisbal, Maite Perroni and Cristian Castro will be leading the evening's entertainment and be sure to tune in early for the red carpet exclusive with Danilo Carrera and Jessica Cediel.
