In an upcoming episode of “Stalker” -- the CBS police procedural drama that centers on the detectives of the LAPD's Threat Assessment Unit -- Beth (Maggie Q) will fight for her life.

Episode 18 of Season 1, titled "The Woods," will have Beth in a dangerous situation because of a stalker.

"Beth desperately fights for her life after her deranged stalker (Eion Bailey) drags her to a remote cabin in Ojai, leaving Jack and Janice to frantically search for clues to their location. Also, the TAU waits for updates on Ben's prognosis after he was shot," according to Spoilers Guide.

The episode will air on April 27 on CBS. Watch a few promos below.

In Episode 19, Beth will be forced to make a tough decision about her future with the LAPD, while the TAU starts to investigate suspect who could be tied to a series of recent murders. 

As reported by Spoilers Guide Vicky's (Mira Sorvino) ex-husband, Will (Adam Kaufman), surprises her on the job which will lead her to reveal to Beth the actual reason she returned to Los Angeles. Episode 19 of "Stalker" airs May 4 on CBS. 

Sorvino, who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a prostitute in Woody Allen’s 1995 comedy "Mighty Aphrodite," is the daughter of the legendary character actor Paul Sorvino.

In an interview in the Hamptons Magazine, the 47-year-old star revealed the most valuable piece of advice her father had offered her.

“In life, it was basically to thy own self be true. You have to look at yourself in the mirror every day and be able to own every part of that person who you see looking back, so you can’t do things that diminish your humanity,” she said.

With regards to acting Sorvino relays a story about coming home upset from her first day on set filming “Quiz Show” and being calmed by her old man, saying that she thought she had done a terrible job. She had mostly worked in independent movies, which move at a different pace. 

Sorvino explained that there were at most five takes. 

"I thought there was something wrong with my performance because [director] Robert Redford was doing 12, 13 takes per angle," she said. 

That's when she called her dad, who told her not to be too hard on herself. 

“I called my dad, and he said, ‘You can’t beat yourself up like this. You have to go out there and just take your best shot at it, and what’s the worst that could happen?’ His advice was just to allow yourself the courage to fail because if you’re always worried about failing, you’ll never soar,” said Sorvino.
