Bruce Jenner '20/20' Interview: Kim Kardashian Says Family Will Watch Diane Sawyer Interview [Watch]
When Kim Kardashian attended Variety's 2015 Power of Women luncheon in New York City on Friday, E! News asked the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star if she intends to watch Bruce Jenner's interview this evening with Diane Sawyer.
"Yes, we will be all watching as a family tonight. That is all I am going to say about it now," Kardashian told E! News.
In a January interview, Kardashian expressed her unconditional love and firm support for her stepdad.
"I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way ... I think everyone goes through things in life," she told Entertainment Tonight.
"I think Bruce is very happy, the happiest I've ever seen him. He's our dad so we support him no matter what. I guess I'll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that's his journey to talk about."
Us Weekly reported in January that the 1976 decathlon gold medalist has received overwhelming support from his 10 children and stepchildren during his reported transition from male to female.
In a few hours, the world is expected to hear the former Olympic athlete speak about his gender reassignment for the first time. The Mirror reports his sons, Brandon Jenner and Brody Jenner, will appear in the interview to share, among other things, they will continue to call him "dad."
While Kris Jenner has struggled with her ex-husband's gender transition, the rest of the Jenner and Kardashian brood has been supportive, including Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband, Lamar Odom. The ex-NBA star fully supports his father-in-law's life changing decision.
"Lamar just wants Bruce to know that at the end of the day, he can count on him. Lamar wants to be that bedrock of love and support to Bruce, just as Bruce was to him when he was battling substance abuse and his marriage was falling apart. He told Bruce 'I love you' and 'I've got your back if you need anything,'" a source told HollywoodLife.
Watch Bruce's "20/20" interview Friday, April 24, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
