The atmosphere of this pre-apocalyptic drama has been heating up in the past two episodes, and now, the show is poised to raise the drama level just a few more notches in the next episode of this CW series.

According to Spoilers Guide, in Episode 3 of "The Messengers," titled "Path to Paradise," Joshua, Erin and Peter are on the hunt for the Horseman of War. They make incredible strides, and once he is revealed, the group can take solace in knowing that one important aspect of their mission to save humanity has been achieved.

In other events, Vera became hesitant, along with Raul, of the news that they are destined to save the world as Angels. They both stray from the group and in their dissidence, they embark on unforeseen consequences. Vera, who is still reeling from the disappearance of her son, had found new hope in him being alive. But once she discovers her new power, she finds time to rethink her purpose and becomes all too aware of what she must do now.

In last week's episode, Vera had already been taunted by the mystery man with video of her son's existence. The man said she must kill Rose, who was in a coma from a gunshot wound that happened seven years prior to the current events, before he will tell her where her son is.

Some of the filming for the series took place in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While on site filming, according to a report Us Weekly, series star Diogo Morgado said that as a big fan of the AMC series "Breaking Bad," he definitely made sure he took the tour of some famous landmarks in the city for the fictional show.

"Oh yeah, I did! Like a tourist," Morgado told Us Weekly. "The car wash, the Walter White house, I went to the whole thing. We shot the pilot with more than half of the crew of 'Breaking Bad.' And on certain occasions, we were shooting right across the road from 'Better Call Saul.'"
