Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon have officially ended their second marriage by extending apologies to all the family members and friends they may have hurt along the way.

"Public divorces can be harsh and cruel," the pair conceded in a joint statement released on Wednesday. "We apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused -- we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on."

With that, the couple's bitter and messy union came to an end with each of the 47-year-old parties wishing the other all the best.

According to TMZ, Salomon will pay Anderson roughly $1 million as part of a settlement. Citing irreconcilable differences, the former "Baywatch" star filed for divorce from Salomon around Valentine's Day of this year.

In the days after lodging her filing, dealings between Anderson and Salomon grew even more contentious, leading her to seek and be granted an extension of a temporary restraining order she previously took out against him.

People reports in the initial order Anderson claimed Salomon had grown to be abusive toward her and she was "scared of what he is capable of doing to me."

The couple was first married in 2007, but that union was annulled after just two months with each accusing the other of having committed "fraud." The magazine adds back then the two were married in Las Vegas during a 90-minute break between the magic shows that Anderson was starring in.

Anderson also filed for divorce from Salomon in 2014 after just six months of being married, but later petitioned the court to have that filing dismissed.

Anderson has also previously been married to Tommy Lee and Kid Rock.
