Justin Bieber Arrest: Italian Authorities Pushing for Singer to Be Arrested as He Shoots 'Zoolander 2'
Authorities in Rome are pushing to have Justin Bieber incarcerated while he is there shooting scenes for an appearance in the film "Zoolander 2."
TMZ reports the 21-year-old "Baby" crooner has been placed on the Interpol watch list and officers openly "swarmed" outside his hotel headquarters on Wednesday, all of it apparently related to an outstanding warrant for him that is active in Argentina.
Reports are the warrant stems from Bieber's failure to appear before the court on charges he allegedly allowed his body guards to attack a Buenos Aires photographer in 2013.
As part of the actions Argentina officials have recently taken against him, Bieber was forced to go through a Customs secondary search when he arrived from nearby Italy and Interpol authorities are seemingly being kept abreast of his every move.
Meanwhile, legal representatives for Bieber appear convinced investigators will allow their client a "grace period" before actually moving to arrest on him on the near month-old warrant.
Entertainment Weekly recently reported Bieber has been cast to appear alongside Ben Stiller in "Zoolander 2." Joining Bieber in making cameo appearances are expected to be Olivia Munn, Kristen Wiig and perhaps even newlyweds Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
The cast also includes Owen Wilson, Penelope Cruz, Billy Zane and Christine Taylor, and famed fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld is the only celeb known to have turned a chance to appear in the highly-anticipated sequel.
Indeed, it's a busy time for Bieber who is also rumored to perhaps being on the verge of patching things up with on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Celebrity Laundry previously reported the "I Want You To Know" singer "has her heart set" on winning back Bieber, and she's never truly been able to get over him.
Gomez briefly dated DJ Zedd during her most recent split from Bieber while he was linked to several women, including Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner.
