Jason Momoa has revealed information about the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Momoa, who is playing Aquaman in the upcoming film, recently said in an interview that he was committed to the DC Comic hero for the next seven or eight years, which confirms that he will be in multiple DC films and will most likely get his own standalone film.

Additionally, he said that he was excited that the film had finally revealed a trailer and that his casting was revealed. He said, "It's an absolute dream come true, and I'm really happy that it's out now. I'm not good at keeping secrets at all and I had to keep that secret for a very long time."

He continued, "It's an honor. I don't have too many things [I've worked on] my children can see -- my son's obsessed with Batman and my daughter's obsessed with Wonder Woman. I never thought in a million years I'd be playing Aquaman."

Momoa also revealed that he was a big comic book fan and is excited for "Suicide Squad." The actor also revealed that Black Mantra was his favorite DC villain and was also thrilled and glad that the new Joker, played by Jared Leto, would be completely different from Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson's interpretations.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is directed by Zack Snyder and also stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Jesse Eisenberg and Laurence Fishburne. The film was written by Oscar winner Chris Terrio and is expected to open on March 25, 2016. It will be followed by "Suicide Squad," which stars Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. The film is slated for release on Aug. 5, 2016.

The two films will be followed by an Aquaman and Wonder Woman film.
