The buzz is all around 'X-Men Apocalypse' again. This time, reports are saying that a TV series spinoff is currently in the works and that Bryan Singer is reportedly confirmed to be directing the upcoming film.

Channel 24 reports that Fox is currently working on a spin-off series entitled 'X-Force.' The spinoff will supposedly be written by Jeff Wadlow - Kick-Ass 2 Director and Writer.

It was earlier reported that Fox signed a deal with Simon Kinberg to expand the studio's X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises. Fox Studio reportedly signed a new three year contract with Genre Films.

Although there have been no additional news regarding the spinoff, speculations regarding 'X-Men Apocalypse' just keep pouring in.

According to IGN, Singer is confirmed to be directing the 2016 film. Singer has been more than generous in providing the public with updates on 'X-Mend: Days of Future Past' and 'X-Men: Apocalypse.'

Recently in his twitter account, the director posted a photo of himself along with others who seem to be part of the 2016 film production.

@BryanSinger posted: "Late night #XMen #Apocalypse story session. #Simon Kinberg @DanimallHarris @Mike_Dougherty It's snowing in Egypt!"

The post was clearly referring to the 2016 film. As Cinema Blend points out, "It's snowing in Egypt likely refers to the origins of the villainous character, Apocalypse, who was raised by Baal of the Sandstormers and renamed En Sabah Nur in the source-material comics."

The report also went on to say that the film will be a direct sequel to 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.' Should this be true, 'X-Men: Apocalypse' will most likely star the same set of actors and actresses including Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin and Ellen Page among others.

'X-Men: Apocalypse' is confirmed to hit theatres May 27, 2016.
