The 2015 Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday at Churchill Downs where all eyes will be on the 20 world-class horses that will be featured in the highly anticipated race.

American Pharaoh is currently considered as the most likely to win the race on Saturday as it is listed a 5-2 favorite. American Pharaoh will have to win the race from post No. 18, which is a desirable post position for the horse trained by Bob Baffert.

Only one horse has won the Kentucky Derby from the 18th gate -- Gato Del Sol in the 1982 Derby. Baffert remains confident, though, that they will win because of being drawn on the outside post.

Victor Espinosa, who will ride on American Pharaoh, also liked the draw because he feels safer on the outside, which makes him believe he has a good chance to win the race again like last year with California Chrome.

"I definitely didn't want to be the one horse, that's for sure," Espinosa told USA Today. "I mean, I don't think it matters, but just to be safe. I feel more comfortable to be on the outside."

Dortmund, also trained by Baffert, will start at post No. 8 and is listed as a 3-1 favorite, while Carpe Diem holds the third-best odds at 8-1 and will start from the second post.
