Jamie Foxx may have taken the biggest pounding of all during Floyd Mayweather's unanimous decision victory over Manny Pacquiao during Saturday night's title fight in Las Vegas.

Gossip Cop reports fans on social media blasted the Grammy Award-winning crooner far and wide for his "lackluster" rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.

Criticisms of the 47-year-old "Ray" star's performance ranged from his many ad libs to his prolonged version of the song. Leading up to his performance, Foxx took to Instagram to post he was "honored to be singing the National Anthem before the #MayPac fight tonight."

The attacks come as nothing new for Foxx, who has previously revealed he was once booed off the stage at Harlem's world-famous Apollo Theater.

"I've been booed at the Apollo," Foxx told The Wrap in August of 2012, soon after he had signed on to executive produce the then new series "Apollo Live." The show focused on amateur artists competing against one another in a singing competition that was decided by show of applause.

The "Django Unchained" star worked with talent advisers Gladys Knight, Doug E. Fresh and Michael Bivins in putting the show together. It was hosted by comedian Tony Rock.

"When you go out on the stage and you feel the history of everybody who's been on the stage, from James Brown to the Jacksons to Gladys Knight. ... There's something to keeping that alive," reflected back then.

Foxx won an Academy Award for his role as Ray Charles in the 2004 film "Ray." He is also a three-time Grammy winner, bagging awards for hits on such albums as "Unpredictable," "Intuition" and "Best Night of My Life."

Foxx was also nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar's Award for his role in "Collateral" and has starred in such widely popular films as "Dreamgirls" and "Any Given Sunday."
