Watch NBA Live Stream Christmas 2013: Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls Tip Off Exciting Holiday Schedule
The Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls are each hoping to bounce back from their losing ways on Christmas day as both teams tip off the day of action in the NBA.
The game, which was underway from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as of noon on the east coast, can be watched online via ESPN's live stream.
The circus that is the Brooklyn Nets organization is led by first year coach Jason Kidd, who has already found his way to the back pages of the main New York papers for all the wrong reasons. Instead of making headlines about his team's performance, he has been the subject of much controversy after a feud with assistant coach -- and former Nets head coach -- Lawrence Frank.
"We're kind of getting comfortable with losing and we've got to make a stand with that because when things get tough, do we just give in?" Kidd said. "And most of the time right now we do."
The Nets recently lost one of their biggest players in Brook Lopez and the rest of the season simply looks dismal. With a 5-8 home record this season, Kidd is right -- the team cannot even get comfortable on its own home court.
Meanwhile, the Bulls -- who have had to play without star Derrick Rose, who is done for the season -- have found themselves six games below .500 at 10-16 on the year. Chicago is averaging 91 points per game.
However, the Bulls could bounce back to relevance as soon as they are able to find their stride on the road. The team is 7-5 in the friendly confines of Chicago while they have struggled mightily on the road en route to a 3-11 win-loss record away from home.
Leading the way for Chicago is Luol Deng, who is averaging 19.6 points per game this season. Joakim Noah has had a decent year inside the paint as he is averaging nearly ten rebounds on the season.
Which of these two lowly squads do you think will eke out the victory? Let us know in the comments!
