Even as many Android devices across the country are still receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update -- or waiting in anticipation, hopeful that their Android device may end up getting Lollipop -- Google has recently posted factory images of another Lollipop upgrade, Android 5.1.1, on its developers' site.

Those factory images of the latest Android Lollipop are for Nexus devices, starting with the Nexus Player. But factory images are different than updates and require a good deal of skill to update devices with (hence their being posted on the developers' site).

However, according to Android Authority, some Nexus 10 users are reporting that they've received the OTA (over the air) update for the Android 5.1.1 version of Google's OS on their tablets -- just a week after signs that that version of Android existed at all popped online in the first place.

Besides the Nexus Player, the nearly 3-year-old Nexus 10 is the only Nexus device with any OTA update of the Android 5.1.1 rolling out so far, but expect other devices like the Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 6, and perhaps the Nexus 9 and 7 to receive the ever-so-slight upgrade over Android 5.1 eventually. No matter what, nearly all of these devices should have Android 5.1 Lollipop already, which is the most important bug fix update for the L generation Android OS so far.

The update for the Nexus 10 is officially known as build number LMY47V, and it should be rolling out in stages to all users eventually. It's only 13.9MB in size and is entirely a bug fix and stability update -- nothing new and flashy about this Android Lollipop.

However, with some Nexus owners still reporting problems with Android 5.1, the update will probably be a welcome one, if minor.
