Game of Thrones Cast News and Updates: Lena Headey Orders Ex-Husband to Download Anti-Texting App
Games of Thrones star Lena Headey got a judge to order her ex-husband to do something pretty unusual -- to download an anti-texting app for his phone, which is to be in use while he's driving, especially with their son in the car!
According to Ace Showbiz, Loughran has driving issues and Headey doesn't want him to injure their 3-year-old son Wylie while he's behind the wheel. She imposed a requirement that he download an app that prevents him from sending and receiving text messages while driving, and blocks the Internet. She will do the same.
Headey filed for divorce from Loughran in July 2012 after five years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason of the separation. She revealed earlier this year in a court document that she struggled financially, having less than $5 in her bank account. She blamed the financial woes on her absence from work while pregnant with Wylie.
Headey and Loughran are sharing the legal and physical custody of their son. TMZ reported that Headey now has to pay for his traveling cost while she goes places to film Game of Thrones. She is paying for his airfare, the least expensive class with a bed, and $1,000 for monthly expenses.
Headey's performance in a one-off show when she was 17 caught the attention of a casting agent, who took a photo and asked her to audition. Eventually she got a supporting role alongside Jeremy Irons and Ethan Hawke in the 1992 drama film Waterland and went on to appear with higher-profile actors in major films such as The Remains of the Day (1993), The Jungle Book (1994), Onegin (1999) and Aberdeen (2000). After working steadily as an actress getting small and supporting roles in films throughout the 1990s, she found fame for her lead performances in big-budget films like the fantasy film The Brothers Grimm (2005), in which she acted opposite Matt Damon and Heath Ledger, the action film 300 (2007), portraying the role of Gorgo, Queen of Sparta, and the adventure and biographical feature The Red Baron (2008). She is known for playing the starring role Sarah Connor on Fox's television spin-off of James Cameron's Terminator film series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008-09).
