Last week, Grand Theft Auto V PC players were confused by rumors that they would be banned from the game if they used mods in it. Now, Rockstar, the game's developer, is responding to these rumors.

Rockstar says that it will not ban players who use mods in the single-player game mode, according to ARS Technica.

"No one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods," Rockstar said in a blog post.

Here are some mods that can be used in single-player mode only. Do not use these cheats in multiplayer games because it could lead to a ban.

The Script Hook V mod allows players to change their single-player experience by turning cheats on or off, generating cash and spawning vehicles. This cheat also lets players alter their character's appearance so that they can play as a whale, a cow or other animals.

The Sticky/Submersible car mod will allow cars to continue working in water. The cars will sink to the bottom of the body of water and can be driven on the seabed. This gives Franklin and Michael the power to escape police by driving through water.

Hydraulics 1.0  allows cars to bounce up and down using hydraulics. Players simply press R to get the car to bounce. The longer the R button is held the higher the car will bounce.

Traditional cheats are available for the console version of the game, according to GTA 5 Cheats. 

Parachute Cheat for Xbox One: Left, Right, LB, LT, RB, RT, RT, Left, Left, Right, LB (equip the parachute and then press A to use it).

Parachute Cheat for Playstation 4: Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, Left, Left, Right, L1 (equip the parachute and then press X to use it).

Moon Gravity Cheat for Xbox One: Left, Left, LB, RB, LB, Right, Left, LB, Left (enter a vehicle after activating this cheat and less gravity will be present. Go over a jump and press O to float).
