Nick Cannon took to Instagram on Mother's Day to pay tribute to both his own mother and his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, who is the mother of his two children.

Cannon posted four photos of himself and his mother who he described as his "favorite girl." He later posted a photo of Mariah Carey with their two children, Roc and Roe, and captioned the photo with a loving message to his former wife.

In the caption, Cannon wrote that he will "forever be in debt" to Carey for "blessing" him with their children. Cannon went on to describe Carey as a "wonderful, thoughtful, festive, loving, and nurturing soul."

According to People, this isn't the first time Cannon has paid tribute to Carey following their split. Cannon recently honored his ex-wife via Instagram on their children's birthday.

Like his Mother's Day caption, Cannon wrote that he would forever be in debt to Mariah Carey for blessing him with their children.

Cannon also posted a photo of Carey in honor of the recent release of her greatest hits album, "#1 to Infinity."

Cannon took to Instagram and posted a photo of Carey's cover art for her greatest hits album "#1 to Infinity." Despite their pending divorce, Cannon asked his fans to go support Carey's album and described her as "the hardest working woman I know."

Mariah Carey has yet to respond to Cannon's loving Instagram messages.

Instead, she has been heavily promoting her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which premiered on May 6.

In addition to performing for her Las Vegas residency, Carey also recently attended a Las Vegas Chippendales show featuring model and actor Tyson Beckford, Us Weekly reports.

Beckford performed a lap dance for Carey, and the two shared Instagram photos from the night.
