NFL Playoff Picture, Bracket, & Standings 2013: Best Playoff Matchups This Weekend
The NFL's regular season concluded on Sunday and the entire playoff picture is set in stone.
The Seahawks and Broncos are, not surprisingly, the top seeds in each respective conference but the rest of the playoff picture is much more interesting.
In the NFC, the Carolina Panthers took the momentum gained from last year's strong finish and ran with it all throughout 2013. Carolina found a way to climb through the division and claw through the NFC en route to the number two seed and a first round playoff bye.
The Eagles finished at 10-6 to take the third seed in the conference along with their NFC East division title while the Green Bay Packers held on to win the NFC North at 8-7-1 thanks to the return of Aaron Rodgers.
The 12-4 San Francisco 49ers notched the first wild card spot and the Saints, despite finishing with an impressive 11-5 record this season, had to settle for the final wild card spot.
Meanwhile, in the AFC, the Broncos just held off the 12-4 New England Patriots in the regular season. The Patriots clinched a first round bye and the second seed while the Bengals took the third seed at 11-5. The 11-5 Colts settled for the fourth spot despite winning the division early on. The Kansas City Chiefs are seeded fifth while the Chargers snuck into the postseason with a 9-7 mark.
