After Gigi Hadid confirmed that she and boyfriend Cody Simpson have ended their relationship, the 20-year-old model has been spotted with Joe Jonas for two consecutive days. 

Mail Online reported that on Wednesday, Hadid and Jonas were spotted in West Hollywood dining at Cheebo. And the following day, Jonas reportedly accompanied Hadid as she adopted a new pet at the Los Angeles adoption center. 

Less than a week after confirming that she and her 18-year-old beau have called it quits, could it be that the gorgeous fashionista is mending a broken heart with the help of the Jonas Brothers crooner?

This isn't the first time that Jonas and Hadid were romantically linked. Towards the end of 2014, rumors were swirling that Joe and Gigi had begun a romance, but Gigi insisted she was single. 

"I think it's funny. I feel like every time I hang out with a guy friend, I'm dating him or I am in love or we are getting married, which is funny to me," quoted Glamour of Gigi back in October. She added: "When I am in a relationship, I will tell everyone."

Gigi and Cody Break Up

Over the weekend, Us Weekly confirmed that the couple had split through a statement from Hadid's rep. 

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," Hadid's representative said. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future."

Hadid and Simpson dated for two years and this break up is the second for the pair. The first happened in May of last year and were reunited a month later. 

An insider for Hollywood Life shared with the publication that Simpson's new single titled, "New Problems" could be counted as one of the triggers for the break up. Apparently the song was about their previous split and its release triggered a lot of emotions which strained the relationship.

Simpson is currently touring in Europe and his hectic schedule also factored into the break up. As Simpson tours the world, Hadid is said to be focusing on her mom Yolanda Foster and seeking the comfort of friends like Taylor Swift.
