Beyonce & Jay Z Hot New Joint Album Release 2015: Tidal Exec Weighs In on Upcoming LP, Promises Fans Won't Be Disappointed
Looks like Beyoncé and rapper husband Jay Z's long-rumored joint album is on the way.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Trends, Tidal Senior Executive Vania Schlogel weighed in on the speculations of the hip-hop power couple's collaborative project.
When asked about the potential record, Schlogel did not deny its existence, adding that fans and the streaming service's subscribers would not be disappointed.
"I don't think we will disappoint our fans and our subscribers," she said. "I think it's going to be really exciting, because the artists do feel like they have the ability to collaborate and work with each other. They all work as a team."
Meanwhile, DJ Skee recently revealed during his TV show SKEE Live's popular segment "The Red Pill" that Bey and Hov's highly anticipated LP is "finally nearing completion" and will be released exclusively on the Brooklyn emcee's Tidal.
The Los Angeles-based personality was actually the first one to announce the album news on-air via his Dash Radio last year.
"The biggest couple in music, maybe entertainment, maybe the world, they're working on an album together. You know who I'm talking about -- Jay Z and Beyoncé," he said. "I have confirmed and talked with a couple sources."
Karli Henriquez, vice president of pop programming at Dash Radio, also confirmed to E! News that the R&B diva and the "Magna Carta Holy Grail" rapper are indeed joining forces to create a "huge" new record.
In addition, producer Detail, who contributed to the duo's 2013 hit "Drunk in Love," hinted that their joint project could drop before the end of the year, during his red carpet appearance at the Grammy Awards in February.
"I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year," he admitted to Billboard. "When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think 'album.' You should already know."
When asked if the married pair's forthcoming full-length album was going to arrive in 2015, Detail replied.
"In my imaginary mind, I will work to say it's true," he said.
