Nike Release Dates 2015: Kyrie 1 'Deep Pewter,' 'Australia' & 'USA' First Look [Where to Buy & Price]
Nike has just released the official photos of a number of new Colorways for the Nike Kyrie 1 shoe line that include "Deep Pewter," "Australia" and "USA."
Kyrie 1 'Deep Pewter'
The Pewter colorway has been used by Nike in a number of other products and now it has made its way to the highly-popular Nike Kyrie 1 line.
According to Sneaker News, the pair makes use of deep pewter grey in its mesh uppers while other shades of grey and silver comprise the rest of the shoe. The grey scheme is made more striking with the use of the Volt lime accent on the swoosh and lining.
To make the KI logo stand out, red is used on the KI insignia seen on the tongue flap of the shoe as well as in the overlay of the midsole. The inner tongue carries the Cleveland player's signature with a "#2" written on the back.
Currently, no release date for the new shoe has been announced, but it is expected to be come out sometime in July 2015. The shoe will retail for $110 and as a reference.
Kyrie 1 'Australia'
In addition to the "Deep Pewter," the Australia-born is going back to his roots. Drawing inspiration from the All-Star's birthplace, Sole Collector notes that the shoe is a play off the Nike Hyperdunk 2013 "Kyrie Irving" PE with its green-toned teal upper with a Volt accent on the tongue. The shoe also comes with a bronze heel giving it a more contemporary look.
A release date for the shoe has not been announced yet, but it's expected to be available in select retailers in a few weeks time.
Kyrie 1 "USA"
As part of Nike Basketball 2015 USA Pack, The Nike Kyrie 1 "USA" will be launched alongside Nike LeBron 12, Nike KD 7 and Nike Kobe 10, according to Sneaker Bar Detroit.
The shoe carries the patriotic colors of red, white and blue. Dominated with royal blue body, there are red, white and silver accents to complete the design. The site also writes that the "USA" design will be available in select retailers beginning June 27 at $110.
Kyrie Irving currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 23-year-old basketball star was born in Melbourne, Australia, but grew up in West Orange, New Jersey.
The Cavs point guard exited Thursday's Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals during the second quarter after an awkward landing that needed to be checked out. Cleveland advanced to the Conference Finals after a strong display by Matthew Dellavedova and Tristan Thompson, notes ESPN.
