Gamers planning to get their hands on CD Projekt Red's "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" can now check out the system requirements for PC gaming.

According to NVIDIA, the minimum and recommended system requirements are as follows:

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on May 19. According to GameSpot, digital copies for the three platforms will be unlocked starting May 19, 1:00 am CET, or for U.S. players, it is scheduled on May 18, 7:00 pm EST/ 4:00 pm PDT. To ensure quick gameplay access, gamers are advised to pre-load the system of choice ahead of time.

Pre-orders made until May 18 will give buyers 10 percent discount, allowing them to get the game at a lower cost of $54 instead of the original full price of $60.

'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' News & Reviews

Earlier this week, the game's "launch cinematic" was revealed and it emphasized what fans can expect from the new title, which PC Gamer describes as "dark, violent, said and spectacular." Citing the initial reviews for PlayStation 4 that have hit the web, the site notes that most reports have been stellar, which have only contributed to the excitement over the upcoming game.

The open world role-playing game is based on the fantasy novels of Andrzej Sapkowski with the same title, explains Coming Soon. Witchers are reportedly trained at an early age to hunt monsters that have infected the world. Using a special set of skills, superhuman strength and quick reflexes, the professional monster-hunters hunt down exotic beasts and monsters with weapons, potions and magic.

CDPR CEO Adam Kicinski has confirmed via Eurogamer, that while the franchise will continue, Hero Geralt's story will be concluded. the game will continue the quest from The Witcher 2 but will see Geralt face the invasion of the army called Wild Hunt.
