Billboard Music Awards 2015: Date & Time, Channel, Preview, Performers, Nominees, Everything You Need to Know
The 2015 Billboard Music Awards is set to air live on May 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
According to Billboard, Taylor Swift leads the BBMAs nominees pack with 14 nominations, followed by Sam Smith with 13. Next in line is Iggy Azalea with 12 nominations followed by Meghan Trainor with nine.
Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen are set to host the upcoming awards show that is sure to feature a jaw-dropping performance by Taylor Swift who will open the show with a premiere of her latest single "Bad Blood."
Teigen has been tweeting and Instagramming about the upcoming show and admitted on Friday, May 15 that she is scared "sh*tless" to host the 2015 BBMAs.
Pink will also be debuting her single "Invincible" during her performance, and Mariah Carey will take the BBMA stage for the first time since her previous performance in 1999.
With only a few hours left until the big show, here is a preview of what to expect at this year's Billboard Music awards.
In addition to performances from Pink, Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift, IBT reports that viewers can also expect to see performances by Chris Brown, Pitbull, Kelly Clarkson, Hozier, Nick Jonas, Tori Kelly, Ed Sheeran, Van Halen, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor.
OK! reports that there will also a "The Breakfast Club" tribute at this year's BBMAs in honor the film's 30th anniversary. The film's star Molly Ringwald will introduce Simple Minds who will perform their hit "Don't You Forget About Me" from the movie.
There will also be notable presenters at this year's BBMAs including Khloe Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner. OK ! reports that "The Bachelorette's" stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson will also be presenting alongside Laverne Cox, One Direction, Idina Menzel and the cast of "Entourage."
