New Year's is a time for resolutions, and of course, we all make them. Here are the top 7 resolutions for New Year's, as reported from around the web.

7. Increased Exercise and Weight Loss: Always a perennial favorite, this resolution always comes about with too little exercise and too much Christmas fruitcake.

6. Saving Money: Another perennial favorite, this resolution is always thanks to ridiculously priced gifts, especially in this day and age of All Electronic Everything (whatever happened to getting the kid a toy train?).

5. Giving More To Charity: A noble favorite, even if its roots are in tax write-off heaven.

4. Traveling: Ties in nicely with the "time" and "money" resolutions... although keeping this resolution will most definitely lead to the other two resolutions being broken!

3. Finishing Up Unfinished Business: Things such as finishing up that long-ago-started Great American Novel, remodeling the bathroom, and making peace with one's past are all on the list.

2. Living in the Moment: As Americans, we're very apt to think of the future. While this is certainly a noble trait, there is such a thing as doing too much of a good thing -- and planning too far into the future, and for too long, can take your focus off of the here and now. Sometimes, it pays to just live in the moment and enjoy it while it lasts... because it's never forever.

1. No Resolutions At All: This is definitely logical: if you have no resolutions, you have nothing to worry about breaking!

Other resolutions (as seen on Twitter) were a little less noble: getting Justin Bieber and/or One Direction to give a follow, dating more supermodels, not cutting class, and listening to parents more (oh, kids... you know...).

So, what are your resolutions for New Year's? How are you doing at keeping them so far? (I realize it's only one day, but...) Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
