It seemed like just a few days ago that Kaley Cuoco was snapped on the arm of the Man of Steel... but now, The Big Bang Theory star took the world by surprise when she married her boyfriend, Ryan Sweeting, on New Year's Eve!

According to CNN, the bride donned a Pepto-Bismol colored dress to marry her tennis-pro boyfriend, whom she'd only been dating for three months prior to getting engaged (and now, married). She announced the wedding yesterday on her Instagram with a photo of the couple kissing and the caption: "Yep. #TheSweetings."

Kaley admitted that their relationship was unconventional. "It's been magic," Cuoco said. "We grew up with the same people, we just never met, so I kind of feel like I've known him my whole life. I know it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."

According to The Huffington Post, the couple said "I Do" at the Grand Vista hotel in Simi Valley. Cuoco reportedly greeted guests in a red dress as they started to arrive around 4 p.m., but changed into a petal pink Vera Wang gown before the nuptials began around 10 p.m.

Famous pals that attended the ceremony included her Big Bang costar and ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki and Bachelorette alum Ali Fedotowsky, a source tells Us Weekly. (Cuoco and Galecki secretly dated for two years, and it was only after their split that Cuoco revealed about their past romance in September 2010.)

The couple wasted no time planning their nuptials, too. In November, Cuoco joked to Craig Ferguson that she had been imagining her wedding for 27 years. Among her big dreams for the big day?

"I'm obsessed with my dogs. And I wanted to do the cake in the shape of their heads," she confessed. "I might ride in on one of my horses," she added, laughing. "I secretly kinda want to do that. I'm a big animal freak. I'd rather the animals be there than real people."
