Following the release of the clip, social media users flocked to various platforms to share either their support or dislike of Jenner's singing.
Yahoo! Celebrity reports that some social media users even accused Jenner of lip syncing and using her friend Pia Mia's vocals in the video. Although Jenner has yet to respond publicly to the lip syncing rumors, she did previously slam rumors about wanting to embark on a music career with her rumored boyfriend, Tyga.
According to Yahoo! Celebrity, there were once rumors that Jenner was releasing music with the help of Tyga and her other musician friends, Willow and Jaden Smith.
There was also another separate rumor about Jenner's first single being a song featuring Tyga and Iggy Azalea.
Jenner has since squashed the rumor.
And though Jenner has denied news about her music career, she did recently fess up to a rumor about having fake lips.
After months of denying that she had any cosmetic work done to her lips, Jenner finally admitted that she has temporary lip fillers in a recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," E! News reported at the time.
The 17-year-old reality TV star defended her decision to get fillers, explaining she felt insecure about her naturally smaller lips for a while and her insecurity grew due to the media's constant scrutiny over her physical appearance.
"Everyone always picks us apart," Jenner explained. "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie." Check out a video clip of Jenner's confession below.
