Chris Soules Describes ‘The Bachelorette’ Premiere as ‘Awkward’
"The Bachelor" alum Chris Soules recently spoke to E! News at the "Dancing With the Stars" finale about "The Bachelorette" premiere, starring Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilson.
When asked to share his thoughts on the latest season of "The Bachelorette," which stars his former television exes, Soules naturally described it as "awkward."
"It makes somewhat good TV, but it's just very awkward," Soules admitted.
Although Season 11 of "The Bachelorette" initially began with Bristowe and Nilson competing against each other to become the official bachelorette, the majority of the show's male contestants ultimately voted to keep Bristowe on the show as this season's official bachelorette.
Soules commented on Bristowe's official title and predicted that she would be fun to watch throughout the season.
"I'm glad Kaitlyn is going to have that opportunity," Soules said, adding. "They both deserve that opportunity, but Kaitlyn's fun. She's fun to watch. She's hilarious."
At the end of the second part of "The Bachelorette's" two-day premiere, the show featured a promo trailer for its entire 11th season.
In the preview trailer, "The Bachelorette" finalist Nick Viall returns to the show in attempt to win Bristowe's heart.
According to Us Weekly, Viall had been crushing on Bristowe for months prior to returning to the ABC franchise.
In addition to featuring Viall's return, "The Bachelorette" Season 11 trailer also reveals that Bristowe ends up having sex with one of the male contestants on the show, which Reality Steve claims is Viall.
Reality Steve also goes on to allege that Bristowe chooses to remain single at the end of the show and dumps both Nick Viall and Shawn Booth who end up being the two male finalists left on the show.
"Just know that Kaitlyn chose neither Shawn or Nick and she is a single woman," he wrote. "She's also not still dating them. She rejected both and left the show as a single woman, choosing not to continue on with either of them."
